Google reviews for your upper cervical practice According to our 2016 Survey of 10 Chiropractic Internet Marketing Experts the #1 way to attract new patients online today is by consistently collecting Google reviews for your practice.

This is an important piece in not only attracting new patients online but also converting those who are made aware of your practice through other means including Facebook ads, blogging, videos and even referrals from your existing patients while at the same time positively impacting your search engine optimization.

For over 10 years now it has been possible to give reviews online.

However, most upper cervical chiropractic practices have less than 10 Google reviews and many doctors have no reviews at all.

We always tell our clients that your first goal is to get to at least five reviews so you can get a five-star rating from Google.

The next goal is to get to 25 Google reviews. So whether you have no reviews or you have less than 25 this article will help you.

Even if you have more than 25 you are not done.

You can never have too many Google reviews if you have more than 25 your next goal should be to get to 50.

If you have 50 your goal should be to get to 75 and then 100 and so forth.

Here Is How to Get Your First 25 Google Reviews

Your goal should be to get all of your raving fans on to Google to give you review.

In order to do that 3 things have to happen:

  1. They have to have a great experience in your practice
  2. They have to have a Google account or be willing to create one
  3. They have to take the time to actually create the review

When collecting Google reviews it’s always nice to start with the low hanging fruit. And these are the individuals that already have Google/Gmail accounts.

If your patient management software has the ability to search by email or sort by email and you can determine which of your existing patients have Gmail accounts this is a great way to get started. If not you will need to just put all of your patients into an Excel document and then sort by Gmail addresses.

Next, go through these steps:

  1. Have your CA give you a list of existing patients with Gmail accounts
  2. Go through the list and highlight the ones that you know have had a great experience
  3. Coordinate with your staff when those individuals are going to be in the practice next
  4. Go through the process of leaving a review through your smartphone with your staff so that everyone knows how to do it with a Google account
  5. Ask these individuals to take a few minutes before they leave today and leave you a review on Google.

Depending on the size of your practice and the size of your list you may be able to get close to 25 Google reviews just from doing this step.

Once you have gone through all of your Gmail addresses next you want to identify patients who have had a great experience in your practice and request a review from them.

Many patients who are raving fans will be willing to create a Google account if necessary to give you a review and help spread the word about what you do to the community if you properly frame the request.

Lastly, you can ask friends and family to leave you reviews but again they may have to create a Google account/Gmail to leave you a review on Google.
